Every family has a story, and ours starts with a man, a trowel, and a passion for creating something that would last. Scott Lillywhite entered the pool industry in the 1970s as a pool plasterer, learning the trade from the ground up and developing the craftsmanship and construction knowledge that would become the foundation of Lillywhite Pools. After decades of hands-on experience, Scott became a licensed contractor and, in 1991, started Lillywhite Pools as a labor of love. Behind every great family business is a strong partner, and for Scott, that was Deborah. With her unwavering support, organizational skills, and business expertise, what started as a small side venture steadily grew through word of mouth, honest work, and a commitment to doing things the right way. The Lillywhite children were practically raised on pool decks and job sites, learning firsthand the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and treating customers like family. Over the years, five of Scott and Deborah's nine children have worked full-time alongside them, each leaving their own mark on Lillywhite Pools. While some of the Lillywhite children have chosen to pursue their own careers, passions, and families beyond the company, Scott and Deborah couldn't be prouder of the paths they have taken. Because the heart of Lillywhite Pools has never just been building pools; it has always been about building a family, supporting one another, and creating a legacy that extends far beyond the backyard. More than three decades later, Scott and Deborah's passion project has become a trusted name in Southern California pool construction and renovation. While the company has grown, the values it was built on remain unchanged: treat customers like family, take pride in your craftsmanship, and create backyards where memories will be made for generations.
